{"id":102,"date":"2008-11-16T14:41:15","date_gmt":"2008-11-16T21:41:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gourmet.mygreatvet.com\/?p=102"},"modified":"2008-11-17T12:17:38","modified_gmt":"2008-11-17T19:17:38","slug":"rum-raisin-bread-pudding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/gourmet.mygreatvet.com\/?p=102","title":{"rendered":"Rum Raisin Bread Pudding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The NEELY&#8217;s<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>3 cups milk<\/li>\n<li>3 tablespoons butter<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoons vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoons ground cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 cup packed brown sugar<\/li>\n<li>3 tablespoons rum<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup raisins<\/li>\n<li>7 (1\/2-inch) slices brioche bread, cubed or torn<\/li>\n<li>4 eggs, beaten<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Directions<\/h2>\n<p>Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.<\/p>\n<p>In a large saucepan, add milk, butter, vanilla, cinnamon, brown sugar, rum and raisins and heat until warm. Simmer and stir until sugar dissolves.<\/p>\n<p>Into a large bowl add the cubed bread and pour in the hot milk mixture. Let sit for 30 minutes so the bread absorbs the milk.<\/p>\n<p>Add the beaten eggs to the bread and milk mixture and stir.
