{"id":1290,"date":"2011-05-31T13:57:18","date_gmt":"2011-05-31T20:57:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gourmet.mygreatvet.com\/?p=1290"},"modified":"2011-05-31T13:57:18","modified_gmt":"2011-05-31T20:57:18","slug":"infused-water","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/gourmet.mygreatvet.com\/?p=1290","title":{"rendered":"Infused Water"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here are some great combinations of flavors to add to a simple jug of water to create\u00a0some amazing thirst quenchers.\u00a0 Originally found on the food coop site.\u00a0 <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTS<\/p>\n<p>6 cups chilled still spring or mineral water<br \/>\n12 thin slices cucumber<br \/>\n4 thin slices lemon<br \/>\n4 sprigs fresh mint, slightly crushed<br \/>\n2 sprigs fresh rosemary, slightly crushed<\/p>\n<p>6 cups chilled still spring or mineral water<br \/>\n10 strawberries, sliced thin<br \/>\n1 tub of blueberries<br \/>\n4 sprigs fresh mint, slightly crushed<\/p>\n<p>6 cups chilled still spring or mineral water<br \/>\n1 \u00bd C watermelon slices<br \/>\n2 lemons, sliced thin<br \/>\n4 sprigs fresh mint, slightly crushed<\/p>\n<p>6 cups chilled still spring or mineral water<br \/>\n2 limes, sliced thin<br \/>\n2 lemons, sliced thin<br \/>\n4 sprigs fresh thyme<br \/>\n4 sprigs of cilantro<\/p>\n<p>Preparation<br \/>\nIn a 2- to 2 1\/2-quart pitcher, combine water, cucumber, lemon, mint, and rosemary. Serve, or cover and chill at least 2 hours or up to 8 hours. Add ice cubes just before serving.<br \/>\nThese concoctions will last in your fridge for roughly 2 days.
