{"id":295,"date":"2009-06-12T10:27:37","date_gmt":"2009-06-12T17:27:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gourmet.mygreatvet.com\/?p=295"},"modified":"2009-06-12T17:23:42","modified_gmt":"2009-06-13T00:23:42","slug":"salmon-burgers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/gourmet.mygreatvet.com\/?p=295","title":{"rendered":"Salmon Burgers"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"body-text\">\n<h2>Paula Deen recipe<!--more--><\/h2>\n<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/2 cup red bell pepper, diced<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup yellow bell pepper, diced<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 cup panko<\/li>\n<li>2 cloves garlic, minced<\/li>\n<li>2 pounds salmon fillets, skinned and finely chopped<\/li>\n<li>1 large egg, lightly beaten<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon soy sauce<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<li>Cooking spray<\/li>\n<li>Sesame Mayonnaise, recipe follows<\/li>\n<li>8 buttered and toasted sandwich buns<\/li>\n<li>8 lettuce leaves<\/li>\n<li>8 slices tomato<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Directions<\/h2>\n<p>In a medium bowl, combine peppers, panko, garlic, and salmon.<\/p>\n<p>In a small bowl, combine egg, soy sauce, lemon juice, and salt; add to pepper mixture, tossing gently to combine. Form mixture into 8 patties.<\/p>\n<p>Lightly coat a grill pan or skillet with cooking spray. Heat over medium-high heat until hot. Grill or cook patties, 5 minutes per side, or until desired degree of doneness. Spread Sesame Mayonnaise evenly over toasted buns. Top each with a lettuce leaf, tomato slice, and salmon patty. Cover with tops of buns.<\/p>\n<h2>Sesame Mayonnaise:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup mayonnaise<\/li>\n<li>2 cloves garlic, minced<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon soy sauce<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon sesame oil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In a small bowl, combine all ingredients.
