{"id":489,"date":"2009-10-10T09:53:28","date_gmt":"2009-10-10T16:53:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gourmet.mygreatvet.com\/?p=489"},"modified":"2009-10-10T09:53:28","modified_gmt":"2009-10-10T16:53:28","slug":"spaghetti-squash-and-frizzled-brussels-sprout-leaves","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/gourmet.mygreatvet.com\/?p=489","title":{"rendered":"Spaghetti Squash and Frizzled Brussels Sprout Leaves"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Anne Burrell recipe<!--more--><br \/>\nIngredients<br \/>\n1 (3 to 3 1\/2-pound) spaghetti squash<br \/>\nExtra-virgin olive oil<br \/>\nKosher salt<br \/>\n1 teaspoon cayenne pepper<br \/>\n3 cloves garlic, smashed<br \/>\nPinch crushed red pepper flakes<br \/>\n1 pint Brussels sprouts, each sprout pulled apart into leaves<br \/>\n1 bunch cilantro, leaves picked and coarsely chopped<br \/>\n1 lemon, cut into wedges<br \/>\nDirections<br \/>\nPreheat the oven to 375 degrees F.<\/p>\n<p>Coat large saute pan with olive oil, add the smashed garlic cloves and a pinch of crushed red pepper and put the pan over medium-high heat. When the garlic is golden brown and aromatic, remove it and discard. Add the Brussels sprouts to the pan and season them with salt. Saute the sprouts until they get very brown and crispy.<\/p>\n<p>Using a large fork, scrape the flesh out of the spaghetti squash, it should look like&#8230;spaghetti! Add it to the frizzled sprouts and season again with salt.
