Ultrashake Smoothie

- Protein Powder (serving size on package of brand you bought)
- 1 T combo flax & borage oil
- 2 T ground flax seeds (flax meal)
- Ice (to desired consistency, I use 2 cubes)
- 6-8 oz of water, or almond milk
- 1/2 c frozen fruit (non-citrus)
- Optional: 1 T nut butter (almond, macadamia, pecan) or 1/4 c of nuts soaked overnight such as almonds, walnuts, pecans or combination. Note: soaked nuts in water, puree’d and then strained of any solids IS ALMOND MILK, so can either soak your own or just use the almond milk above instead of water.
- Optional: for better tasting shakes, add 1/2 a frozen banana, or frozen cherries
NOTE: you can have multiple shakes in a day, but only use the flax meal in 2 shakes per day ( I think it may cause some diarrhea, too much fiber)
**Put the protein powder and flax meal on the BOTTOM of the blender, then add the fruit & water/almond milk above that. The oil can be put in any order.
